Mutton Leg steam masala


  • Mutton Leg (Bakray ki rann)-1
  • Onion-3
  • Tomatoes-3
  • Yogurt-½ kg
  • Papaya paste-½ cup
  • Ginger garlic paste-4 tbsp
  • Green chilies-4 to 6
  • Coriander leaves-½ bunch
  • Mint-2 tbsp
  • Crushed red chilies-1 tbsp
  • Turmeric powder-1 tbsp
  • Cumin seeds powder-2 tbsp
  • Oil-1/4 cup
  • Salt-to taste
  • Water-as required


  • Take mutton leg and marinate it with papaya paste and salt in it.
  • After that cook it for 20-25 min in steamer.
  • Take a pan and put onion, ginger garlic paste, vegetables and all the ingredients (masalay) in it and cook it for a while.
  • Now than add yogurt and water and cook, when oil is visible than add mutton leg in it, cook for 3-4 minutes and its ready to serve.
