Fried Fish

IngredientsFried Fish

  • Fish fillet             ½ kg
  • Green chilies chopped  3 – 4
  • Oil          ¼ cup
  • Crushed red pepper       1 tsp
  • Cumin seeds crushed    1 tsp
  • Dry mango powder         1 tsp
  • Coriander seeds crushed             1 tsp
  • Ginger garlic paste          1 tbsp
  • Chili powder      ½ tsp
  • Turmeric              ½ tsp
  • Coriander leaves             2 tbsp
  • Lemon juice       2 tbsp
  • Gram flour          2 – 3 tbsp
  • Salt        to taste

Method

  • Cut ½ kg fish fillets into small pieces, marinate with 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste, ½ tsp turmeric and 2 tbsp lemon juice.
  • Then add in salt to taste, 1 tsp crushed cumin seeds, 1 tsp crushed coriander leaves, 1 tsp crushed red pepper, ½ tsp chili powder and 1 tsp dry mango powder. Mix very well.
  • Now add 2 – 3 tbsp gram flour, 3 – 4 chopped green chilies and 2 tbsp coriander leaves. Mix well.
  • Now shallow fry till golden brown and crisp.
