Ingredients
- Fish Flay (cut them in cubes)-200 gm
- Onion (chopped)-1
- Tomatoes (chopped)-2
- Red chili powder-1 tsp
- Red Chili Flakes-1/2 tsp
- Turmeric powder-1/2 tsp
- All spices (garm masala)-1/2 tsp
- Cumin seeds-1/2 tsp
- Black chickpeas (kaley channay)-10 gm
- Roasted poppy seeds (khashkhas)-10 gm
- Coriander leaves-as required
- Salt-to taste
- Oil-as required
Method
- Fry the fish first in a fry pan. In other pan heat little oil and make sure you fry the onions till it turns light brown color.
- Now add tomatoes and pour little water in it.
- Now grind the roasted black chickpeas and poppy seed with little water in a grinder.
- Add red chili, salt, all spices, chili flakes and half cup of water and cook it till it thickens.
- Add cumin seeds and coriander and cook for more 1-2 minutes.
- Now add poppy seed and chickpeas mixture and cook it for 2-3 minutes. Add 1/2 cup water, cook it and cover it for 1-2 minutes.
- Add fried fish in curry and garnish it with coriander leaves and serve it with boiled or garlic rice.
